A building fire has sparked commuter chaos on a major road in Sydney’s inner west.
About 3pm on Thursday, emergency services raced to Parramatta Rd near William St in Five Dock to reports of a warehouse on fire.
Fifteen people were evacuated from the scene, Fire and Rescue NSW said.

“Among the contents of the warehouse was a supply of cigarette lighters, creating concerns the flammable butane gas would further fuel the blaze,” it said.
“FRNSW efforts are being supported by Police, Traffic Management crews and NSW Ambulance.”
