A 26-year-old man walking on crutches was arrested at a Millar home on Friday morning and charged over a violent kidnapping in Sydney’s south earlier this year.
It will be alleged he was one of three men who tasered and assaulted a 39-year-old man on Cameron St in Banksia on March 2, 2023.
“The men — who were travelling in a stolen Ford Ranger utility — allegedly attempted to kidnap the 39-year-old before he was able to escape them,” NSW Police said.

The alleged victim was taken to hospital suffering burns, lacerations and bruising to his head, after police responded to calls for assistance.
The man has since recovered from his injuries.

A short time after the victim escaped, police found the stolen car alight on Nattai St in Banksia.
Strike Force Ballanya officers executed a warrant in the Millar home about 6.50am on Friday following extensive inquiries.
During the search, a firearm was found concealed within a concrete slab, underneath a tile. The gun was seized and will undergo forensic examination.

Six GPS tracking devices, 10 mobile phones, other electronics, number plates, a Toyota Hilux, fireworks, cannabis, $3925 in cash, masks and gloves were also seized.
A 26-year-old man was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station and charged with 15 kidnapping and firearm offences.
He was also charged with offences relating to a separate driving incident, and was due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
No further arrests have yet been made in relation to the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
