The driver lost control of the white Hyundai SUV in the carpark of Ramsgate Coles on Grand Pde about 11.10am, and allegedly hit two pedestrians, aged 53 and 63. A number of cars were also damaged.

“The 78-year-old male driver of the SUV, along with the 53-year-old and 63-year-old pedestrians, were treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene,” NSW Police said.

“The 78-year-old driver and 53-year-old pedestrian were taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.”

Investigations are ongoing, and anyone with information or dashcam video of the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
