A pedestrian has died after being hit by a bus in Sydney’s southwest.
The 63-year-old man was struck by the bus on Moore St in Liverpool about 1.40pm on Monday.
Paramedics treated the man but he died at the scene — just metres from a children’s playground.

He is yet to be formally identified.
7NEWS understands the man walked out into oncoming traffic without seeing the bus.

The 65-year-old male driver of the bus was uninjured. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police are investigating the crash.
Moore St near Carboni St was closed in both directions.
