A 25-year-old female pedestrian has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car in Sydney overnight.
Paramedics and police were called to the crash outside the popular Golden Sheaf Hotel on New South Head Rd in Double Bay at 11pm on Saturday.
Witnesses said the woman’s head smashed through the windscreen before she was thrown back onto the road.

She was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition, police said.
A 29-year-old female driver was uninjured.
NSW police are continuing to investigate.
