A man has died following a triple shooting in Sydney’s south-west on the weekend.

Ahmad Al-Azzam, 25, was shot while sitting in a parked car on Mayvic St in Greenacre about 2am on Sunday.

Al-Azzam was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where he died on Thursday.

Another man, aged 22, and a 19-year-old woman, sitting in a separate parked car, were also shot at.

The man remains in hospital, while the woman has since been discharged.

It understood one of the men shot in the attack sustained head injuries, while the other suffered neck injuries.

The woman is understood to have sustained chest injuries.

About five minutes after the shooting, a car was found alight on Amy St in Regents Park.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
