The 43-year-old homeowner saw a Toyota Prado drive away from his house and followed it to Rawson Rd, South Wentworthville — about 9km away — where the two cars then collided.

The 43-year-old, who police say was armed with a knife, then allegedly became involved in an altercation with two teenagers who were in the Toyota.

An 18-year-old was stabbed and suffered lacerations to his hands and face, while the 43-year-old suffered cuts to his shoulder and leg after allegedly being hit with a machete.
