Three teenagers riding an electric scooter were seriously injured when they crashed into a car at an intersection in Sydney’s west.
Video of the crash last month on the corner of Glossop St and Forrester Rd in St Marys shows the teens being flung into the air as the scooter smashes into the side of a white hatchback.
Witnesses say the youths ran a red light moments before the collision.

The CCTV shows the teenagers’ friends, who were riding another scooter close by, stopping to help.
One of them tries to drag a teen with suspected spinal injuries off the road.
Another teenager, also injured, stumbles over to the accompanying scooter and rides off, leaving two of his injured friends behind.

A month before the scooter crash, a car full of teenagers on the run from the police crashed into a brick fence.
Christine Tidyman, who lives nearby, said she’s sick of youth crime in her area.
“I’ve got three younger sons myself, I swear if any of my kids did that they would be in trouble,” she said.
