Two elderly passengers have died in a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s west on Tuesday.
Three people were inside the car when it crashed into a pole about 11.50am on Fitzwilliam Rd in Toongabbie.
The trio were initially trapped in the vehicle following the crash.

A 100-year-old woman and 75-year-old man, who were both passengers in the vehicle, died at the scene.
The driver, a 72-year-old woman, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries.

She was then taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established.
Anyone with information relating to the crash is urged to contact police.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area as diversions are in place on Fitzwilliam Rd.
