A woman has died in a two-vehicle crash in Sydney’s northwest.
The emergency unfolded on Pitt Town Rd in Pitt Town, about 60km from the city’s CBD, when a utility and hatchback collided about 8am on Thursday.
A 30-year-old woman behind the wheel of the hatchback was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital.

On Thursday evening, police confirmed the woman had succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
The driver of the other car, a 33-year-old man, was assessed at the crash site for minor injuries.
He was then taken to Hawkesbury Hospital for mandatory testing, police said.
Investigators are currently working to piece together what triggered the incident and witnesses have been urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
