A man has been charged after a woman was allegedly stabbed multiple times in the head and upper body with a paint scraper in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
The 47-year-old victim suffered stab wounds to her head and upper body following an argument outside a Randwick unit block on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Roberts Ave about 4.30pm over the alleged domestic violence attack.
“Police have been told the woman was involved in an argument with a man known to her before he allegedly stabbed her several times with a paint scraper,” police said.
The woman was treated by paramedics before she was transported to St Vincent’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
She remains in a serious but stable condition.
Her alleged attacker, a 21-year-old man, was pinned to the ground by the bystanders who tackled him and was held there until police arrived at the scene.
He was arrested and taken to Prince of Wales Hospital under police guard as a precaution.

Several crime scenes were established in the area as investigations continued.
He has since been charged with wounding a person, intending to cause grievous bodily harm domestic violence.
He was refused police bail to face Waverley Local Court on Thursday.
